| We are looking for volunteers!!
We are looking for someone willing to have fun with a caring attitude
and patience.
Spark provides fun activities for children and young people living
in the Blaenymaes Area. The young people and children all need an
opportunity to be in a safe and caring environment, Spark aims to
meet this need and give lots of encouragement and foster social
skills and build self esteem.
Times available for volunteering:
KIDS CLUB on Tuesday – Thursday 3.15 – 5.00pm
YOUTH ACTIVITIES on Tuesday & Wednesday 6.30 – 8.00pm
The Volunteer will have the following duties to assist staff in
the following:
· Welcome children
· Creating a friendly caring environment
· Engaging in play activities with children
· Craft activities
· Help tidy up after the session
· Assist preparation and giving out children’s snack
· Assist on outings
· Inform staff of any discipline, safety issues arising
· Be familiar with Spark’s policies and procedures,
including child protection, health and safety etc.
Volunteers will need to have a CRB enhanced disclosure.
Volunteers will need to provide two references.

The Spark Centre is on a 25 bus route; ask for Woodford Road/Portmead
Avenue stop. There is car parking in Dove Road.
